Does Cars and Coffee still happen on the first weekend of the month in Houston? Me and a buddy of mine would like to attend but I want to make sure the event is still active. We are bring our cars and family from Dallas. If the meet is not active, is there any other car event going on the August 1? I know about Kemah but not sure of any other events.

last time i was there, there where probably 1000 cars.. The diversity is insane.

They are also doing something similar to Cars and coffee in Cinco Ranch. Its called Houston Ride n Shine. Looked like a decent turn out from there facebook page last month. 3rd Saturday of every month. 18th is the next one i believe.

Ill will be checking it out.
