Well, I did it!
Well, I did it! Well, after much consideration, and many talks with family, friends, and The Lord...I took the next step, and asked Melanie to be my wife. I'm still in a state of shock, she said yes, and made me happier than I've ever been in life to date. Some people probably have differences of opinions with me or my life, but please keep them out of this thread, as I'm doing this because I consider alot of ya'll on here my "extended family", so I wanted to share
I need to get a better lighting for this picture, but here's the ring. The center Diamond came from my Late Grandmothers ring. I felt that it was only right to keep a family keepsake tied in with it.
My sister snuck in our apartment while I took Mel to dinner and spread rose pedals all along the floor to the bedroom, and placed the 25 long stemed red roses all over the bed, dresser, night stands and floor. The whole apartment was lit by white candles, with a soft classical music playing in the background. It took my breathe away seeing how beautiful it was....I know she has some pics of it, so I'll grab them from her in a few days.
Thanks to my friends and family who belived in me and prayed for me to make this decision, I love you guys!!

Man, congrats Kev! I wish the two of you the best! And as mentioned above, enjoy each other for a while & see some of the world while you are young before starting on children....plus, once you have kids, car parts really get put on the back burner.
