This season was a good season for the Ags. A winning record, a bowl game, and keeping it close with OU and UT. at the begging of the season who would of thought that those games would be that close?

and theres always next year....another chance for UT to try and beat OU, and another chance for a great rivalry such as UT and A&M.

Has anyone heard the stories a/b A&M and Tech playing at the Cotton Bowl in the future for their regular season game?

I agree, A&M's season was supposed to start to pick up next year...so this year was a bonus

Quoting espn here:
"Even with the loss, the Aggies rebounded from last season's 4-8 finish to become bowl eligible against the toughest schedule in the nation. Three of their four losses have come against teams ranked in the top six."

I think OU will go with two losses max next year...their offense is gone but Peterson is still there as well as a QB recruit from Texas who sounds like a hot prospect

Next season might be UT's chance to take a win from an OU with its pants down...w/out Benson I do not see UT doing much more than they did this year...

I have not heard anything about playing at the Cotton bowl against Tech...Speaking of Tech btw, they played a good game against OSU tonight

Yea it was something talked a/b on the news here in DFW a/b the mayor of dallas wanting to get a 3rd game during the texas state fair. the 2 currently held there is OU/UT and the 2nd is like Grambling/Prairie View A&M. So the proposed game is A&M/Tech.

Ag fans like to throw up the fact that OU has beat UT five in a row. They have, and it sucks losing to the Sooners, but atm has even a worse time in beating Texas. Don't forget about Baylor this year and the 77-0 loss in which the ags quit last year, lol . With Friday's win, thats five in a row the Horns have beaten the ags to bring the series record to 72-34-5.

The game was a physically dominating win for Texas. The score could have been MUCH worse than it was. Vince tries to make something happen and fumbles at the one-inch line, which should have been a touchdown for UT. The no-call on a atm fumble late in the game that Texas returned for a touchdown. Considering those two plays, the score could have very easily been 40-6.

Someone mentioned that Benson played over his head? Dude, are you serious? Benson has had some of his best games in his career against atm. I guess he played over his head in all of those too, lol. Does it really hurt that bad to give Benson and Texas credit where credit is due? Texas simply has a better team than atm.

I'll give atm credit, they've definitely come a long way in a short time under Fran, and exceeded a lot of people's expectations this year, including mine. I'll be honest, I'm already concerned about the game next year in BCS. Good luck to the ags this year in the bowl game.

Well the Bowl predictions come out as Texas going to the cotton bowl, and playing Tennessee.
And A&M is predicted to go to the Holiday Bowl playing Arizona State.

I will admit Benson is a great player but he will leave UT w/out a championship ring, w/out beating OU AND w/out a Heisman
