Question What kind of fish??

A little off the car theme here but a buddy of mine is a big fisherman and has caught 2 of these the last two times hes been out in west bay any idea what kind of fish this is???

I'd like to know too! I caught one of those a few years back when I was in highschool on a marine science field trip to S.Padre Island. I caught him with a net though. I can tell you that it's a bottom dweller.

that is a fish that has mutated over the years because of all the chemicals and harsh things in their environment. You guys remember that episode of the simpsons that the fish had 3 eyes. . . . sort of like that!!!! NO just kidding guys, i too have never seen this fish. LOOKS OOOGLY

I think that is a dog fish ? atleast thats what a fisherman told me when i cught one on the dike in texas city, he also said it is poisonis and can survive up to 4 hours or more out of the water? i am not saying its true but it was an old man. but i kinda belive him cause when we caught it we just flung it into the rocks and it would not die.

That is a LEOPARD TOADFISH Opsanus pardus I caught these trash fish before.

Looks like a Rockfish. Anyone ever see Blue Lagoon? I doubt it is the same as seen in that movie.

I cought a fish simmilar to that in my cast net about 5 weeks trying to catch finger mullet for flounder. It was about 1 and a half inches long but this thing had spikes on it.
