Pretty sad to hear, he was a great guitarist and gave Texas a good name in metal. RIP Dime.

I had to jam my PANTERA CD on the way home tonight. That sucks that some stupid a$$ had to express himself in the wrong way. The gun man was shot by a cop right? Did he live? The way they mad it sound on the radio today was like he was still alive.

I cannot even express myself when it comes to BS like this. I already hear people blaming it on the metal scene."Oh those metal bands always have hidden messages in their music" BULLSHIT. My sympathies to the family of the lost. Vinnie keep rocking.

actually, he's already died once from heroin.....it was about 7 - 8 years ago immediately after a show in Dallas at the Coca-Cola Starplex that i went to, it was Pantera and White Zombie, with openers Eyehategod. that was absolutely the best show i've ever been to. anyway, i read on several news sites (can't remember where it was now, it's been years ago) that he actually died for like 5 minutes, then was resuscitated. you'd think that after a fatal encounter like that, that you would think twice about doing **** like that again....

but this really sucks ***....why would anyone want to kill such a talented and well-respected musician like D.D.? but the REAL question here, is how the **** did the guy get in the club with a damn gun in the first place? i smell a MAJOR lawsuit brewing over this one.....

I still can't get over this. I have been rocking Pantera in my car wherever I go since the 9th. Really sucks when people use guns to display fucked up messages.
