Crap, I forgot about all the cars shows they have on Saturday. And today is the one day I got up early enough to see it but didn't.

they show them from 11cst to 12:30 i think. This is on Sunday. VCR tapes them every weekend. It should be Car and Driver, Horspower, and then trucks. Before these it is called Top Dead Ceter. (motorcycles of all types)

Yeah, i saw that today. They spun a bearing so that equals total build up. Not a bad idea.

It's about time they tore into that thing. They've had it in the shadows long enough.

did anybody see the two guys garage episode where they put a cam, LSX 78mm intake, and new valvetrain in the ls1. then ran it on an ENGINE dyno and only cracked 400 crank hp? it was a joke! they hooked up the stock airbox/airlid assembly to it and ran the damn thing.

i'll have to go check my uncle's TIVO out and see if HPTV got recorded.

Maybe they put the "HOTCAM" in it

They were running HPTV almost ALL afternoon...one episode after another!! I thought i died and ....for some reason or another I always seem to miss them.

It was a good episode to watch, especially showing the engine removal out the bottom. I always knew how it was done, but have never seen it. The only thing that bugs me is these guys don't really use the best parts. I mean, come on - Edelbrock shorties?!?! Why even bother? It seems like it's only the sponsored companies that get the airplay. Oh well - still cool to see an F-body on national TV!! It could be the GTO - yuck!

I saw one episode this weekend. They had a red 98 SS. They installed a Flowmaster catback, TB, some long *** B&M shifter, and slp ram air. They went from 300rwhp to 320rwhp. I noticed when they were taking the old exhaust out, the muffler looked like a Dynomax Ultraflow or a Magnaflow. Why in the hell would you replace a dynomax ultraflow or magnaflow w/ flowmaster?

They use parts that are sponsored to them. That's how the show makes money.

At least others that haven't seen how engines can be taken out of the bottom on these are done

Yeah. I know that, but damn...how about an SLP Loudmouth instead. They went w/ an "SLP" ram air setup.

I'm just hoping that they actually put some performance parts in the motor since they have it apart. Maybe a stroker kit?? Maybe some ported heads? At least a decent cam!!! We can only hope.....
