Funny, I saw the original poster asking specifically about MTI, but it seems that this thread has been mega-whored up by some other shop. Calm down guys......

Mike, honestly all those replies (including yours) look pretty desperate. The thread is titled "MTI" and the poster asked specifically about MTI. Just an observation

I was going with MTI until I heard about G-force. Up until today I hadn't heard of them before, and it is a BBD (bigger better deal) so I am going with G-force mainly cause of the lifetime updates.

Just my two cents on this ordeal...

Both shops offer awesome tuning, but then again I also know both tuners more so on a personal level rather then buisness. It doesn't matter who anyone goes with because they will be taken care of.. I am very confident that Mikey has no reason to make fake post to encourage buisness... I think hes doing very well as it is now... He doesn't "give away" tunes or anything.. He is a personal friend and I help around his shop almost every day. I see what comes in and out.. Everything so far has done nothing but impress me. I've even seen Mike @ Icon bring over some beast that have come alive on the dyno, and only gotten meaner with the tweaking from Mikey.

To clear anything up before it is taken the wrong way.. My car still retains the tuning that Jayson did for me. He has put me in front of other customers to get me in and get the car lined out and ready for nitrous.

Like I said before both G-Force and MTI are perfect tuners and have this down. Speed Demon and HPE also do tuning, but Ive never had any experiences with them, but have heard good things also.

I never said any posts in this thread were "fake". I also didn't accuse Mike of making those posts. I know those other guys too. I'm just saying that it looks kinda desperate when a shop owner jumps into another thread that is asking about a competitor's shop. The loyal customers you have are more than welcome to post replies in your direction, but it just looks kinda bad when shop owners jump in and beat their drum too.

Didn't see Mike @ Icon reply in here.
Didn't see Chuck @ HPE reply in here.
etc....

I'm sure you would think it was kinda lame if someone posted a thread asking about G-Force specifically and all of the MTI leghumpers jumped in and Jayson jumped in and tried to bang their drums. Right? Thats my only point in this thread.

Notice I haven't even mentioned any of my preferences for shops. I'm neutral

Jayson at MTI does know how to tune. You will get good results there.

I don't know if I'll go back next time because of two things.

I paid extra for a lifetime tune, only to be told less than 6 months later there were no more lifetime tunes and they would not be honored anymore. Congrats on the windfall on the extra $$$ MTI.

The competition is just as good and may be more interested in satisfying customers.

I trust MTI I haven't had any good experiences with any other shops as of yet. I haven't had a car tunned by G-force or HPE. Good luck with your set up I have seen the T-rex either make awsome power or not anything good so it is a toss up on your dyno. Mikey tunned one POS car with a T-rex that only did like 382rwhp it was a 6 spd car with 100K miles on it so it isn't a good comparison, but there is about a 15 hp difference in MTI's dyno and G-forces dyno. Dyno's are just for tunning anyway take it to the track and judge the improvements in track times before makeing any harsh desicions on dyno numbers if they aren't what your expecting.

nine ball must have a job and not own a business.
the greatest thing about business is stealing the competition customers.
to get your name out their, to offer more for less. to one day have enough business to open another shop and start a chain, to be the best, to have your name spoken in the world that you do as A-1, the top dog,

my impression of MTI, their fat, full, no hunger, could care less if you came to them or went else where, happy with what they have, no need for more.

my impression of G Force, hungry, wanting more, willing to work with you, yearning to expand, to be top dog of the tuning world.

Walmart has taught us, a business that is satisfied can not compete with a business that is hungry and wanting more.

this is my personal opinion
sorry if i high jacked the thread, did not mean too.
