Default facts/opinions of 408 iron block in f body?

Is anyone running a truck motor? Is a new 6.0 with good crank/rods/pistons a good start to put alum. heads on just to get the cubes?
What does the weight do to the car?

A few people have the 6.0 truck motor in their f-body. Many of them are 408ci with a 4" stroker crank and slight overbore. It adds about 100 lbs to the front of the vehicle.
