Dog pissed on rims...HELP!!

part of the reason that the center doesn't look as good as the lip is the fact that the center is a different kind of aluminum. The lip of the wheel is a softer metal so it shines up better. Mine don't have any clear coat on them. Mine are about a year old.


For the stain I would try some mothers polish on it. I had a stain on mine and it took it right off. The gords works too but on new wheels I would use the mothers so you don't get little scratches on them.

And I'm going to wetsand and buff my centers, just to make sure mine will always look better than yours...

Naaaa Mine have already been wetsanded and buffed mine are the best!!!

BTW: I used a full size buffer to do my wheels, just used the edges with a wool pad at a verry low speed (600)

Thats what I planned on using, or maybe a smaller buffer - like i used on my calipers ~4" wheel..

obviously you have never seen my wheels. I had to put a plastic gaurd to protect them from the people drooling when they look at them

maaaaaaaybe the backs are shiney, nothing like mine, but they arent bad.

thats not what you said out at hooters. You know mine look better. The fronts do need some work I'll admit but they were used and were left outside for who knows how long with out being cleaned up. They still look better than the ones you spent all week polishing

I compared to my friends brandnew TT and mine had a better shine!
