I've always found these inspections to be a joke Bottom line: If you can pass emissions (%'s, etc), then damn the hard parts and codes!

Thank God that in Florida, we finally got rid of the pain in the asses! Just like a wart, they may come back one day, but for now... .

It's all about the $$ for the state (IMHO).

When we did have inspections, same thing...find a place that wasn't such a PITA to get through and go there (or make a friend somewhere.

$20 gets me through inspections, and that's w/ dumped duals and no cats. Just find some shithole and talk to the guy doing it.

 

Right now my plan is to take it to the shop where my friend works. He doesn't do the inspections anymore but he may be able to hook me up still.
