I've had it happen to me three different times. All of them were in parking lots of places that served alcohol (go figure!). Two pool halls and a night club. Nobody was ever caught.

When I was selling my Foxbody it was parked in front of my house. There is still a lot of new construction around me and someone with a truck tore up my rear bumper and quarter panel. It was bad enough to submit a police report and file it with my ins company. I found a place to fix it and make it to where I would have zero cash out of pocket

I searched for days for a white/silver truck/van for weeks. I was going to get Medieval on it

Yeah when I had my 88 stang I was in some store and when I came outside my drive door wouldn't open more than 2 inches... Someone had hit my front bumper and it screwed it up where my door wouldn't open... I had to pay for that to be fixed.

I was in a Wal-Mart parking lot awhile back and I saw someone back into another car, the owner of the other car was in the store and didn't see it happen. Well I figured I better get the guys plates just incase he did something stupid. Sure enough right after I wrote everything down on a piece of paper he took off. So when the cops got there I had all of the info they needed
Sorry about your car by the way...

Matt

Twice for me. Once in the parking lot at work and once on the highway. The funny part is that, in the latter case, I couldn't get the police to come out and file a report. Reason given was no injuries. It was a pretty good impact and the car wouldn't start, so I walked home (about 3 blocks) and called a wrecker. While waiting for the wrecker, there was a knock at the door. It was the police. They asked me "Mr. Jones, do you know your car is wrecked on the side of the highway". Restraint was pretty tough at that moment.

yeah happened to me in high school, right in front of me only it wasnt so much a hit and run. I had my k5 blazer and a guy dinged my truck with his door while I was walking to my truck not 5 feet from the bumper. I yelled, he denied it???? then I put my foot in his door and yelled some more. No hit and runs yet (knocks on wood). Sucks about your car.

had some door dings, where people just dont give a ****! and dont bother to tell. Also had my car keyed! on the bumper didnt go all the way through the clear coat so you can barely see it. Then a foot long one on the passenger side rear quarter panel that is noticable!! That really pissed me off. I just dont have the money to fix them. I hate those people. GRRR.

Who hasn't? People will take off if they think they can get away with it.

The other day in traffic on 529 I was behind this newer Dodge Ram with a big mattress in the back where there was no way the driver could see behind her. Well when we pulled up to the light I guess the person in front of her stopped when she thought they were going to run it. She slammed on the brakes so hard the rear shocks got full extension. I thought the rear wheels were going to come up...lol. I was a good 15 feet behind her.

Then she gets out of the car a whole minute later. The light turns green. She looks at me and points to her bumper(looked fine to me). I almost smacked her with my side mirror going around her dumb *** standing in the middle of the street. As far as she is concerned it was a hit and run...haha.

Man that sucked, I kept the look out for a couple weeks after that too. I still think you should have traded me your stang for my explorer .

I had a guy cut me off in traffic and smacked my front fender and bumper with the back of his S10. It put a hole about two inches wide in the front of my TA, and then the guy ran off. I chased him into a subdivision, and when he pulled into a culdesac and I blocked him off. The guy claimed he didn't hit me, so I asked him why he ran. He tells me it was because he thought I wanted to fight him. So asked him why I would want to fight him, and he just started cussing at me and saying didn't hit me. So we walked over and found green paint on his rear fender and a piece of my bumper stuck in his bumper. He said that had been there for years, so I pointed to the grey paint on my car that matched his truck and how the piece stuck in his bumper matched the hole in my car. He told me to go screw myself and drove off. Naturally the cops didn't do anything, but I didn't expect that they would.

Me and my friend were at the local cruise spot late driving home and some guy in a dark red chevy truck that was infront of us stopped, threw it in reverse, and rammed the front of my car... dislocated my friends shoulder and I had a slip spinal disc. He was never caught, he had fake arkansas plates.

Happened to me twice when I worked at Target in less than 2 or 3 months, both were on the side/rear of the bed, one on each side, and both over $1000. A few months after both of those I had a passenger window busted out but they were spooked away and nothing was stolen. Needless to say I don't like to park at Target here anymore. Glad I'm not working there anymore!

Mine happened real close to yours at the Kroger on fuqua. I was in a 88 stang and parked way the hell in the back (to avoid door dings) and I came out and saw that some clipped the back of my bumper.

Yeah, I got hit bad last summer while my car was parked outside my house. $7000 in damages. With help from LS1Tech, I found the punk bitch who did it. Cops didn't do ****, because they're more than 2 years behind on non-fatal hit-n-run accident investigations. This summer will be the one year anniversary, and revenge will be had! I'm just going to have to help Karma work a little faster......
