Why not? Just look at NMRA SSO. They have a bunch of stock suspension, 91mm turbo cars running those times with less engine that you've got on the same tire.

First off, the cars in sso in nmra are ladder bar cars, not stock suspension. Second, if its so easy to be done, how come no one has done it yet including you??

Seems Mustangs typically have less traction issues that the f-bodies also. Maybe the factory 4-link style setup? Maybe the shorter wheelbase. Not sure if it is shorter, but it seems so.
