I moved to Cedar Hill recently and promptly got pulled over twice. Once it was late and I figured he just stopped me because I got his attention (no ticket, said I failed to signal but I didn't). Second time I was headed back accross the lake and its like a 30 zone right before it goes to one lane. So, of course I try to get in front of everyone before the cut-off. Bam cop coming the other way 55 in a 30 and NO Ticket! I couldn't believe it, I figured it was just cause I pulled my smoves on her(female officer) .

Where to start with this guy.

You could start a thread to see how many people have been ticketed by him, or has come close. I personaly have come close, car behind me got pulled over at a light.

This guy likes to pull over cars with loud exhaust and start checking for emissions equipment (cats), and non emissions equipment (cut outs).

He told me when he was giving me my ticket that he primary duties was to check emisions.

About 2-3 years ago he gave a no cats, no smog pump (mustang) ticket to a good bud and told him that he was specifically looking for me and was going to check out my exhaust. ******
Havent got a ticket yet, car hasnt had cats in 5 years.

I have heard stories, about this guy, I know someone that was a member of this board that got pulled over one night was not in the car, and was actually just got done pissing on the ground around a building. They pulled up and asked who was driving and what they were doing out there, they told this DPS officer, we just pissed on the ground, they were honest with the guy, he said it was his car his friend was driving and was fine. They took him anyways for DWI, got dismissed, but this DPS officer is the one that patrols out in the NW/290/249/1960 area. I was lucky he didn't want to take me for having one beer out of a 6 pack missing. But the DPS " Black night" I think from what I am told hates anyone that drinks at all and drives, cause his family or someone in his family got killed from a drunk driver, just what I heard, Well watch out for him cause I guarantee if he has pulled as many of us over one day will be your turn, good luck facing the BLACK NIGHT LOL

im not gonna bother with cats, just take an old stock cat cut it in half, enlarge the holes at the ends. then weld it around your exhaust pipe.

I don't know if that will work, this guy looks pretty damn hard. Better hide the welds good.

just the welds on the sides really. you can also enlarge the endholes without cutting it in half and then slide it over the exhaust and weld it at the desired location. welds on the end will look normal, there will be no way to tell at all(visually)

not really, he only looks for a single cat. All you have to have is one. With me he just peaked under to car to see if it was there, it wasnt, so he moved on to the under the hood part of my roadside inspection. I thought about just buying a cheap 3inch cat and flanging it and putting it in the I-pipe. But id imagine ill get around to that if he gets me again.

I am gonna go up to MTI this weekend an do a dyno to see just how much HP i really lost.
I have the flps cats on now it's a little quit for my taste but tone sounds really good with the borla open.
My poor little B-1 dosent sound to good anymore though
