so who all in B/CS is going to the fireworks show tomorrow night at the G.B. Library? my brother & i will both be there in our camaros....maybe we should set up a designated location for all the B/CS LS1Tech people to meet up?

actually, i just got back from scoping out the area, and i found a really nice spot for us to meet, but we'll probably have to get there early. it's off of University Dr. going toward 2818. the actual address is 1500 Research Pkwy. at the Centeq Research Plaza. if we can park in that parking lot, towards the rear of it, there is a nice little pond area behind the building that would be great for this. i drew up a map of how to get there. if we can't park in the parking lot, we can still access the little park area by way of Technology Loop, which loops around behind the Centeq Plaza building (listed as 1500 Research Pkwy in red on the map).

i plan on being there sometime between 8:30 - 9:00. like i said my brother & i (along with his g/f & our dad) will be there, i have the red '02 Z28, and he has the white '95. bring lawn chairs unless you wanna sit on the grass.

We got there and they wanted us to park in a dirt feild. That was not going to happen to the black silverado, so we left. Lets try to get something together so we can all meet each other. Does O'Reilys meet still go on?

Damn, we got there and people were driving over curbs and such, we parked at first left off of research, ehh, maybe next year. Good show though. Thought i saw a NBM formula but turned out to be a v6 with look alike exhaust.

yeah, that sux that they had that parking lot blocked off , that would have been a perfect place to watch from, out by the water and all. i got out there and found out that they had it blocked off, so i went over one road to Discovery Dr. instead, and had my brother post the location update, but most likely everyone was gone by then.

you talking about meeting somewhere tonight, or some other time?

i think the O'Reilly's meet still goes on, but from what i've heard, it's been overrun by ricers. but i guess it depends on what day of the week you go.

Are you serious, i thought formulas had a diff. spoiler?? Shows you how much i know about these cars huh? Yeah, i almost said somethin but i thought it was a firebird, yeah my car would look gray then, its actually purple pearl. Thats a bummer.

nope formies look just like a v6 bird
the only way to tell is by hearing the exhaust or seeing formula on the side

if thats removed, it can still look like a v6 b/c the dual exhaust was an option for the v6 birds.

i didn't check out this post since i posted on it before so i just parked my car over on southgate by chevron and sat in the field beside the practice football field.

what was up with all the pauses in between groups of fireworks??

the o'reilly's meet officially became the import night over a year ago. last time i went by there was actually nobody out there. when i was going then there were still quite a few fbodies that showed up. i haven't made it to almost any meets but there are still a few domestics that meet up at sonic on harvey on fridays.

my car is usually parked there at fudruckers 'cuz i live across the street and have monster speed bumps.
