There's a popular mexican food place downtown called Irma's ( i think that's the spelling ) if you're looking for something fairly nice and quick that's a good place with good food and close to the ball park, but it's usually packed wall to wall with tons of Astros fans, i'm not so sure if i'd reccomend wearing tons of Dodgers apparel in there just for fear of maybe somebody being rude, sad, but possibly true.

FWIW i think they operate 2 locations downtown, one old location which isn't very nice, and then the restaurant caught on and blew up and they bought another location at a far nicer place, the old one might not still be in operation but i'm unsure.

Have a good time man, Enron, err, Minute Maid is a fairly nice facility, i always enjoy going and watching a game there.

As far as close to the ballpark, Vic And Anthony's would be best. But, close distance, I'd select Willie G's on Post Oak. They are always consistant with great food. Try the lobster bisque - best in town.

Chammps offa westheimer is good in my book, decent prices and the food is mmmmmm gooood....its pretty much a sports bar.....umm Ichiban's is good, same with Bennihannah's, both a little bit pricy, but its those type of oriental restaurants that cook infront of you.....pretty much just drive around on westheimer and you are guaranteed to find a good place to eat...good luck....and go stros!

Well, it looks like the only thing you'll be enjoying in Houston is the food and racing, because your Dodgers are getting whooped.
