car meet every sat. kroger spring cypress@champion forest Anyone ever been to the car meet at the kroger @ spring cypress @ champion forest? I have been seeing it out there every saturday for a while now. It is mainly older cars, but maybe some of us could meet up there and hang out. The last time I saw it, there wasn't very much rice.

I think it's part of a "classic" car club's night out.
Thye seem to always have their classic's sitting out there, but then they rope everything off.
I'm not sure if they charge you to go see the cars or not.

I just got back from it. It is a lot of classics, but I did see some 4th gens. I believe Nineball( Tony?) was out there in his C6. Oh, they dont charge to see the cars. We should try to get more 4th gens to show up out there next weekend. There is plenty of room in the parking lot.

There were 135 cars there tonight. Mostly musclecars and street rods, but some were very high quality. It was probably the best overall Houston gathering I've seen in a long time.
Next Saturday it will be at the 59 Diner across the highway (249) from Willowbrook mall. Then it will be back at Krogers. Starts around 7pm, ends around 10pm.
Yes, I was out there tonight in the C6.
Patrick, you go up 249 and exit on Spring Cypress, take a right, and go about 2 miles down and the Krogers is on the right, at the intersection of Champions Forrest.
