blinker problem

Anyone having a problem w/ the blinker lights going out constantly. With the rain we've been having it seems like I have a short somewhere. My lights inside and out are dimming badly without a stereo system. I took it to MTI and they couldn't figure it out, but my ignition relay keeps going bad. Someone please shed some light on this.

maybe some blinker fluid needs to be added?

I had the same issue, every three days 1 would go out. Still havnt solved the problem, just took them out untill I can find a fix. I think water may have gotten in the socket and ruined it. Im going to get new sockets from GM and see if that helps. If you figure it out shoot me a PM.

i put some dielectric grease in mine adn solved the problem

word of advice, if you replace the socket, autozone sells one significantly cheaper I do believe..
factory is like 85 bucks or something

You need to seal the socket. Mine did this, and I ran a silicone bead around the socket, let it get tacky then installed it. Never had the prob again.

Mine went out a few days ago after going thru a drive-thru carwash. Shorted out the bulb and the socket looks a little burnt, but I put a new bulb in and it's working so far. Brandon,any idea on the price of the socket from Vatozone?
