How hard would it be to pass an emissions test in Texas. I've heard that in California it's next to impossible to pass emissions if you modify pretty much anything in your car. I'm planning on getting kooks 1 7/8 headers, random tech cats, fast intake and a gmmg cat back for my stock 2000 ws-6. This will all be connected to a d-1 procharger with a gt3 cam. I'd like to hear from anyone who has the same set-up and your experience with passing emissions in Texas. P.S is it necessary to go with an SLP ls6 intake w/egr to pass emissions. Thanks any help greatly appreciated...

check texas.gov, I think the DPS website, and see if you're in a sensitive county. if you're not, there is no emissions test aside from a visual inspection. if you are, then I think there's an OBDII scan? I just moved to Dallas, so we'll see! the aforementioned site explains it in more detail also.
