i was up there last semester, and not going back , i met alot of cool people up there and had alot fun, but theres alot better colleges out there, it sucks being like 6-7 hrs from every big TX city, tumble weeds are a beotch, theres huge dip at every intersection that my car scrapes on, no drainage system=muddy flooded roads, mud/dust everywhere, always windy and smelling like ****

There's a fun street scene in Lubbock, check out www.racelubbock.com for all the GTG information and such. Actually, there's a good sized GTG planned for August 19th, would be cool to see you and some other new faces there!

Yea its ok down there i wont be out there till the Sunday before school starts. U wanna talk about smelling cow **** try living in the beef capital of the World good ole' Hereford Tx. Thats where im from and beleive me lubbock is a releif from the smell of **** we get here.

Take a walk on Texas Tech's awesome campus and you'll see some of the finer things in Lubbock The car scene here is decent for the size of the town, especially when school is in....we have regular GTG's and cruises and there are two 1/4 mile tracks within 30 minutes of lubbock
I like the laid back nature of this city, the people here are extremely nice and after one semester at Tech you'll have more friends than you'll know what to deal with
