Well I just bought me an 01 SS and I can't afford the gas prices that this V8 consumes and I bought this car a few weeks ago when gas was not this high. My plans are to take out the Monster V8 and install this 4 cylinder engine I have in the storage I have. So I will need someone to pull the ls1 engine out, make custom motor mounts for the 4 banger and install the engine to save on gas money, then when gas goes back down, re-install the V8...Who could do this for me for a reasonable price? I would need to make it front wheel drive also...Let me know!!!

PLEASE TELL ME YOUR JOKING! Your saying your going to have a 4 cylinder Camaro SS? For one, the trany is not going to bolt up. Its going to cost you a hell of alot more money to get the tranny and installation than gas would cost you...If you didnt want a big V8 car, you shouldnt have bought the car in the first place...Sorry this is the lamest thing ive ever heard... Put on ur flame suit because its just getting started!

If you cant afford the gas on a "monster v8" which gets 18-30mpg (stock) you had problems to start with. A 4 cylinder in the car would probably get worse milege!

 

You could always cut a hole in the floorbaord and get a new pair of Nike's! Just like the Flinstones use to do!

Ill give you a 90 integra, (4cyl) and my 98 z28 for your SS. That way you can have best of both worlds. I am absofuckinlutely serious too. Both have clear titles, the integra had a complete overhaul about 60k ago. 2 cars for one, thats a steal.
