I saw Milli Vanilli at Astroworld in 89. I **** you not. Luckily, Young MC opened for them, so I wasn't totally robbed. Having a season pass back then was awesome. You got into all of the concerts for free.

Hahaha now That was some Old School **** I remember all that.

Now I'm going to take it back to see if you guys remember the "Studio Club" a dance club that was tape and replayed that night on TV ch.39 or 26. now that was in '90-'91 The Kid and Play(Rap group) days. I spent alot of childhood summers there with the season pass.

I have never been but figured my GF & I and some friends would go out there sometime in Oct. so I can at least say I got to go.

That sucks to hear. My favorite ride was greese lightning. I liked the acceleration.

God, i hope Fiesta Texas is next. that place is uber worthless.

Wish I could say otherwise but AstroWorld is the worst theme park I've been to.

Damn, I'm sure going to miss the gas powered Model A cars. The steering on those things must have been German engineered.

Oh well. At least I still have my dog leash/collar with the invisible dog in it.

The Texas Cyclone was a badass ride ...even better when u ride in the last carts..lol
I guess will have to go to the one in dallas or San Antonio.....Or go run ur car at the track and leave the line at 6200rpm..lol

I try to forget one thing about AstroWorld.... The LARGE"Wooden Pattle" that read "I had a FAT time at AstroWorld" my dad seem to only bring it out when I got into **** at school

Actually the reason Astroworld was sold is that area is PRIME property believe it or not.... Especially with Reliant and the Med Center very close by....Big buisness coming next.
