Unhappy Bye-bye, Astroworld

Granted, it has become a haven for thugs and thieves, and the people working there are surly on a good day, but it's still sad to see it go.

That kind of sucks to hear. But, having a ghetto form around it probably didn't help too much. If that park were up near the Woodlands it probably would have survived.

Agreed. Look at Splashtown. They do great business, and part of that is because it's not exactly within walking distance of a crackhouse.

You should venture out and try other things besides obsessing over your car

I cant decide. 41.5 degrees of overlap sounds good, but tuning does have its advantage. Depends on what I can pick up for cheaper. Dont worry though, if I did get that cam, I would feel bad not paying you fer yer services.

I should start a poll, I think I will.

The last time I went to Astroworld it wasn't too thuggish, either way you still had to wait over an hour per ride...

Astroworld was best when there weren't lines for the rides...

Not to be a grammar ****, but I couldn't help noticing the numerous mistakes in the article.... I thought this was from a professional writer?

Damn, I had 3 free passes that expired in October. Should of went sooner. I went over the summer and it was pretty fun. I guess its more fun for someone who is scared of heights.

When does the season end? In the 2 years Ive lived here, I havent had the chance to go to Astroworld. Ive been to the Six Flags over texas in dallas many times though (grew up not too far from Dallas).

Maybe we can organize a LS1Tech farewell trip before they close..
