People settle down...
New Orleans was alright the night of the hurricane.. Thats what people do not understand it was damaged, but not that bad off. It was late that night that the Levee broke and then the major flooding began...
My question is guys and gals.. where is our Levees... oh wait we do not have any. We have had major floods here and people reacted ok. If you feel you need to leave then please do.. Nobody is stopping you, but my parents have been through every hurricane and tropical depression in Houston since 1948, which almost none of you all can say.. And they have never left once.. So think about it that way.

====> lets also all remember not to freak out too much.
This is NOT going to be another New Orleans.
Houston is well above sea level, and if anything, we'll get some flooding, high winds, and maybe some crap knocked down. Driving around today I saw everyone and their mother freaking the hell out, but lets keep it together and if you hang onto common sense, everything else will be fine. Unless it gets real real bad, I am planning on riding this sonovabitch out. Yes the lights will go out, maybe no air conditioning for a while, but it's really not the end of the world like a lot of people are acting.

quit FREAKING OUT, jesus, it is ridiculous people. Houston has had hurricanes before.. Just because some Peice of **** city got blown away does not mean it will happen here.

Completely understandable, but Ross, you are not freaking out and acting ilke a moron. People need to sit down, take a deep breath and get back to what they were doing in a civil matter.
