While Hurricane Rita was on its way, we took off to a land Far Far Away............ VEGAS BABY!!!!!!!! It was kinda wierd that the weekend we were scheduled to go this monster of a hurricane was on its way. There were several doubts of not even getting on the plane. ****, luggage check in took almost 2 hours, while security took 45 mins. We left 3 and a half hours before our flight was supposed to take off at 130 pm thursday. We get to the gate at like 115 and board the plane only to wait on the runway for another 3 hours. They told us that Hobby airport usually has about 600 operations a normal day and at 430 there had been over 1400. Damn............ 
We didnt get to Vegas till about 730 houston time (530 Vegas time).
Anyways, here are some pics for those of you who havent been. It was my second time to go and it sure was better than being here..........sorry
Wynn Resorts, opened not too long ago, was boasted to make the Bellagio (a 6 Billion dollar hotel) look like a motel 6. It was very very nice I might add. And its the only hotel on the strip with an 18 hole golf course........

Damn that **** is rough..............
The freemont street experience. Its not on the strip its in downtown, but its a pretty cool show. Its a dome of over 1 million lightbulbs 3 football fields long. A must see for any Vegas goer.........

Last but not least the View from the Ghostbar on the 55th floor of the Palms hotel. I **** you not a beer there will cost you 7.50........... Yeah, im never complaining about the price of a beer again.
So Yeah that was my Hurricane rita vacation and Alex and Chads 21st bday present...........
