Default Any Tech members working downtown?

Well,

This is my first week at the new Job (Dynegy), and its downtown. Not a bad commute like I was thinking. The park/ride gets me there/back in 15-20mins. Lunch time in the tunnel is a plus

Just bought 99 z and new member. That's a sweet car, I seen it when I went downtown from the Addicks park-n-ride too Wednesday. Those are some FAT 315s you got on the back. I had to get out and look b/c I'm trying to decide what wheel and tire combo I want to buy. But that park-n-ride is cheap though ($1.00) what offset u running on your wheels?

Holy crap! I used to work Deskside Support at Dynegy too! Who are some of the IT people there? We had some pretty massive layoffs (wiped out the entire Deskside Team), but that was end of 2002.

I worked downtown until about 2 weeks ago at the Houston Chronicle. Now I work in the Galleria (in the Williams Tower).

That makes sense. There was a lot of talk of going that route when the layoffs happened.

Restaurants nearby:
Luther's - Good BBQ. Basically across the street on Smith.
Zero's - Sandwiches. Not bad. About a block east.
James Coney Island - Hot dogs. About two blocks east.
Jason's Deli - Across the street from Foleys.
Zydeco - Moderately good cajun food. In the ground floor of the Bank One building.
Droubi Brothers - Mediterranean food. REALLY good. In the tunnels under the Bank One building. My favorite place to eat downtown.
Subway - Tunnels under Bank One.
Beck's Prime - Good burgers. Tunnels under Bank One.
Cafe Chino - Joe Garcia's favorite . A pretty good hike, in the tunnels next to the Chronicle.

And watch out for the people in the McKinney Garage. I got tons of door dings there.
