When you disconnect the MAF it throws 2 codes, and when the computer sees thoes 2 codes it forces itself into SD. When you plug the car up at emission time, their computer will see thoes 2 codes being thrown.

Now the paint is a different story. His 95 had a fresh paint job, but this 93 is pretty fair. I mean it looks real good and all, just not as bling bling as the 95 fresh paint. But then again I hate green so I think the red 93 is nicer! lol
You're keeping the MAF Joe. We will get that MAF to fit in there, so don't worry bro.
Peace,
Craig.

I've run SD in two cars, and been very happy with it. My Australian buddies showed me how to do SD. Once you understand, it isn't that bad. In fact, I'll never go back to MAf again. Anyhow, there are good threads on it on HPT's site, and probably some on the EFI site, along with here.

Why do people make things so complicated? Unplug it for when you want to run SD. Plug the POS back in for emmisions. You just need to set the fail limit to "1". Personally, I threw my MAF in the garbage months ago and don't miss it one bit. SD tuning isn't rocket science. I can do it if you'd like. PM if you're interested.
