Default Searching for a 69 Camaro near TX ASAP

There is a long story behind it but here is the short version.

My wifes dad was killed when she was 3yo on a bike. Some of her only memories come from looking at pics of him and his 69 Camaro. Every since we met I have heard stories of this car has been sitting since 1983. Well it has and I found it last week. The current owner just aquired it and is pretty attached to it. He is about to stick big money in the car. Once this starts I will never have the chance to get it for my wife. The owner has made a deal with me if I can find a replacement car with in the next few weeks he will consider a trade. The problem is this body as about as perfect as you can get. No rust in the floors, 1/4's windows, trunk ect. He wants an equivilent car. Since Unique Perf. and similar companies are buying up everyone one they can find good solid cars are near impossible to find right now.

If anyone can give me some leads it would mean everything. Motor, matching #'s, options dont mater but from the cown back needs to be close to perfect. What I will pay will depend on the car.
PM me with in specific info
this is her car (I hope)

Richard there is a guy on DFWstangs that had a 69 SS for sale. It's white with black SS strip and appears to be in great shape, I'm not sure what he wants for it though, somewhere around the mid 20's I'm sure. I found a cherry 67 in Utah that was in great shape for $11,000.00 but it was a standard Camaro. PG/327 Gold (ick).

www.cars-on-line.com

Best place I've found for 1st gens. There's also a guy that goes out to Kellers that deals in nothing but 1st gens, I'll see if I can find his card or ask Ben what his name is.
