Exclamation B/CS people check in

Ok, So me and some friends have been contemplating creating a university club. My initial thought is for it to cater to "pony cars" camaros, mustangs, firebirds, and challengers (if/when they make it). Some activities could be:
Cruises/ meets w/ BBQ or other events at the end. think monthly or so.
Drag Racing events
Annual Car show, like a big/proper car show with judges, trophies, etc...
And do some charity work, like Toys for Tots cruisins, and other worth while events.

I would like to see this happen. However, a club isn't a club w/o members, and a large group of our members are here so I am listening.

post up with your interest/comments.

Josh

TAMSCC wasn't worth the time. More people in the club were more dedicated towards giving people **** than being a "car hobby" this is a club that would cater to different aspects of the hobby.

I was wondering when somebody would start something like this. I think it would be very cool, considering there are a lot of "pony cars" around this place. And some of the older guys in town I've met are really knowledgeable. Hope it works out.

I'd be glad to go in too. I live in Stephenville, TX which is only about an hour from the Metroplex. Will there be membership fees or what? Keep me posted.

Bingo! most of the people that know me, know my gripes with the other club, i give a big thumbs up to the people behind the scenes trying to get this new club off the ground. as well as a goodluck to the current leadership of the other club to try and get the riff-reff out of there.

Sounds like a good idea. A respectable club might be worth joining.

thats what i was wondering too. We have voted on a "club name" for the wednesday night Bryan meets. And they are working on making it a "club." The name chosen was B/CS Street Beasts. Come on out tonight to bryan and we can talk about it. It would be good to get those older guys together with us from the bryan meets. B/c the way those meets have been growing our club would have no problem handling over 40 cars. Just my .02.

P.S.- we have also come up with a couple logos that i will try and bring out tonight.

Mike we have no plans to "compete" with the current club. We're simply here for a different group of enthusiasts. I think with new officers in TAMSCC it has a chance to turn around but there is still a "small" leadership problem there.

I need to specifically say that this club is not to compete with TAMSCC, but think of it more as a supplement to it. It should be a club that you can come to and have fun with weather your car is fast or (like mine) slow.

I won't be at Hastings tonite, I have a test in the morning.

I will be here for summer I, we should get something together for the summer people.

Thanks for all the comments guys.

I'd be down too! I keep reading older guys, I'm past college but dont by any means consider myself old! I live and work here so I'll definately be here this summer! I havent had the time lately due to WORK! But anyways I should be there tonight! I'd like to get to meet some more of you guys!

Oh yeah one more thing I dont think that the club shouldnt be limited to only the mentioned above, it should include any kind of muscle car/truck.My 2 cents:
