As for hook ups, now all 96 and up cars that are plugged into the OBD2 connector (all have to be) through the machine it reads the VIN from the car. So no more hooking up another car like it used to be a few months ago. A lot of places arent yet aware of this and they eventually will be shut down. They know who they are, just a matter of time to go get them. If there is no Check engine light 99% of the time the car will pass. And I know a place that isnt strict on any of the other stuff
