Sorry, I have to work to support the things I want, which means I've had a full time job since I was 16, which would account for my school record. Mommy and daddy don't pay for my ****.

And for your information, I'm majoring in Construction Science/management.
And UTEvo8, I don't see where I was owned. The way Tyler acts, he thinks UT is the best thing ever, other than himself of course. Go fly a kite and play your little video games.

It's hard to believe the behavior in this thread. Come on guys...
Back on topic:
Like many other responsible posts - What do you want to do professionally? I am not going to re-list the pro's and con's already mentioned but I think it gives you an idea of each school. I loved my time at A&M and miss the town every day. Nice people/atmosphere and won't cost you an arm and a leg like Baylor.
Either way what makes a person successful isn't the piece of paper they earned but rather the person they have become.

never once have i bashed aTm on an academic level, hell i applied there. Yes i do bash their athletic dept but that comes w/ the territory for sports.
Ryan, dont give me the "i worked my whole life bit" bc i know for about a year you did not hold a job, and lived off your partents. Nice Try.
I showed you the facts... enough said, again aTm has their good depts and the other i guess "mediocre" depts but it is an overall good school, right along w/ Baylor, great medical program, education, and good accounting/business.
Yes I went from PE, to Hydrogeology/Geophysics which is Geosystem engineering which is in the same dept. aka PGE, Petroleum & Geosystem Engineering. I transfered bc I was a better Geology student, something im naturally better at, but i stay in the Petroleum field... i guess that shows how much you know, right ryan?

Well, that is me dressed up at a football game. I'm a Longhorn Hellraiser, and im the Vice President, and so on. But we paint up and do stuff during the games in which has gotten alot of attention. Actually enough that Jim Knox, the main commentator/producer of FSN has contacted me, and we will be filming commercials july 19 for FSN for their new game show called "Horns Pre Game" which is a 30 min pre game show for ever UT football game. On top of that, on the 20th, we are filming again to have a special episode based on the Hellraisers.

Definately figure out what you are studying and go from there. Each school has its weaknesses and strengths. Find one that has its strengths in your desired field, and find the one that suits YOU the best.
When it comes down to it, you will get out of school what YOU put into your education, a person barely skirting by at UT is coming out of school with less of an education than someone doing very well at a "second-rate" university. The day after graduation, all that matters is the peice of paper and the knowledge you gained from attaining it.
