Spin off from the corvette stereotype Post. Has a vette ever got you some action ;) Ok, this is for Corvette owners only, or people that have driven a corvette or used to own one. How many or you would say you have gotten a peice of *** or picked up girls souly on the fact that your drive a vette? Also how many of you catch peopel staring at you as you drive( I do it all the time)?

I had a funny moment in one. My dad let me borrow his z06(c5) for prom weekend. On the way home during the day there was a guy in a red c5(looked like it had just been detailed). I pulled up next to him at the light slowly and the look on his face realizing I was just a kid driving the z was priceless.
Im still looking for a C5 under $10,000. I did find a 1999 FRC in NYC for $9,500 running. It had slightly below average paint and minor trans problems but, for under 10G's why the hell no!

People stare at my car and give me compliments, but I don't think that a woman has ever decided to have sex with me just because I own one. I have owned a 69 Stingray conv, a 69 Stingray coupe, a 72 Stingray conv, 03 Corvette coupe and a 04 Z06. I do not meet women in my car, however they do end up in it at sometime if we date. Perhaps that could have led to them deciding they wanted to pursue something on a date, but I have never asked why they decided to. Never look a gift horse in the mouth... ha ha!

As for turning heads, the Corvette definitely does that. But, I gotta say the '69 Camaros I've had are 100x more head-turning than the Corvette.

I tagged a chick on the hood of my Z three days after I bought it. I had slept with her a few times before, so the car really didn't matter. Spent the next day Zaino'in it to get all the smudge marks off. I was impressed with how sturdy the fenders and hood are though. Really surprising.

You know what really deserves a stereotype is hummer drivers. Since I got my h3 i went to some gatherings and wow. I told them I had a t/a and the rest of the night my nickname was mullethead. Alot of the guys were cool but there was a couple hummer drivers that just really pissed me off though.
