Default Anybody have any opinions about Mazda 3s?

I've been looking for a nice, inconspicuous, comfortable car that's fairly cheap and good on gas, and the Mazda 3's keep turning my head. I'm thinking about picking one up, you can get a low mileage one for around 13 - 15k. Anyone own one, or have any opinions about them?

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks!

Friend of mine has one, its pretty comfortable IMO. I never sat in the backseat, but it doesnt look to be too bad back there. And its actually pretty peppy for what it is.

Overall, Id say its a nice car.

we had them at my job for quite a while, and they were probably the nicest we had in that size class.

Its a very good car. It scored almost perfect on the consumer reports.

I bought one for my wife and kids. Its a great little car, and quick when need be.

If it were just her, it'd be great. Should have gotten the Mazda6 though since we're 4 people.

In a few years I'll probably trade it in for one.

Hey Amber, whatcha been up to? This is Blake, the guy that you gave your MAF to a LONG time ago! How ya been? I got banned from NTAC a long while ago as well. I got rid of the 25th and got an my SS this past Febuary, I love it. Anyway, those Mazda 3's are badass little cars. A buddy of mine got one all decked out, even has HID Projectors, pretty cool indeed. Anyway, will talk to ya later!

I have the hatch version and I love it. It's a great car, I bought it used with 49,000 and put 18,000 more on it in 4 months and it's taking it like a champ. Mine is a 5-speed and alot of fun to drive believe it or not, even after driving a 6-speed 'camaro for almost 5 years. The only complaints I have are very little things, like the window lock button not only locks the other window switches, but you can't roll them up or down either.

didn't your avatar have something to do with "fiddy"s? lol I think I remember.

I went and test drove a dark blue one today, I think it was the i model. It was pretty loaded, didn't have the appearance pkg i.e. foglights and the silver looking "euro" style tailights, but it had the 6 disc in dash CD changer, the automatic (which is what i'm looking for), it was the sedan - 4 door, I dont really want the hatchback model, it had all the stereo controls and cruise controls on the steering wheel - power everything. I LOVED it. It had some pep, for what it is and it was comfortable and drove great. It was an 05 and had roughly 14K miles on it. Not sure of the price, but the sticker on the window said $299/month. I'm assuming it was around 15K or so, i've researched on autotrader and that's about the price they're going for. I'll definitely be picking on up here pretty quickly, just gotta get some finances in order. I think I'm gonna go with either black or that really nice titanium color:

best thing for you to do would be to check out a mazda forum where you can find better details on them, like this one http://www.mazda3forums.com/
