I'm not gonna lie I like these big powers cars but what skill does it take to race from 80-180 mph.

I don't think it is about skill. I think it is about car vs car. Don't get me wrong I think a 0-180 race is a better race(or 0 to a 1/4)but I also think anyone has to respect what some of these cars a capable of from a roll. just my .02.

 

Doesnt even matter both cars would be kicked out, either by ET or by just what they would trap, well over 135MPH(?) or what ever it is before you have to run a cage, hell i dont think either car even has a bar in it. I would like to see some video, gonna need a fast chase car

NO skill at all. 180 mph comes pretty quickly in a car with more than 500 rwhp, but I suppose I'm more impressed when there is some skill in the driver's seat that can control the power and get from point A to point B the quickest.

I used to win quite a few races when I was outgunned on HP, mostly because I just out drove the other guy. It is kind of sad that people don't enjoy showcasing their skills behind the wheel, and focus on HP and dynojet racing.

 

Wise this man is. The easy way out is running from a roll...with any car. Running from a standstill is always more fun.

Guys lets not act like with a 3200 900rwhp it is gonna be some easy thing to hook. Alot of guys don't like the feel/noise of aftermarket suspension peices and I speak for alot who don't want to cage the cars. My fav race is a 1st gear roll, I don't wanna break my rear trying to race from digs. But I do agree 80mph is semi gay, 1st or 2nd gear is the way to go...

 

I ran 12.8 in a Mustang GT with minimal mods.
