HPE Big Nitrous ZO6 update
Just letting everyone know that car finally did get finished, and is back home in Dallas. It put down a very safe 880 rwhp. Still has a lot more in it, but we didn't want any more mishaps. I just wanted to post the final numbers so everybody who was curious could know how it did...
And for those who haven't seen the car, Click here
The initial hit of the nitrous caused some driveline surge. You can kind of see it in the graph. Each pull lasted about 3 seconds. So imagine transferring that kind of power, in that short of time.
I know Lance was happy earlier. He couldn't stand still Should leave for a fun ride on the street. That's right over 1000 flywheel horsepower. Not too shabby I suppose...

You know what is funny? You guys that are talking about roller coaster rides really don't have a clue. When a shot of nitrous that hits that hard through a locked up drive line you are going to get some surging like that. A manual transmission will not absorb the initial hit like a tourque converter will in an automatic. As far as not being proud of a genuine street car that can get 25 mpg on the trip back to Dallas and make 880 rear real horsepower, well I'm just not going to go there. Oh and yes we have had some problems with this car but we got it done, and you can talk to most people who build a car that makes that much power and all I can say is it happens. One more thing yes you would probly be sick when you saw how slow this car made your red z look.

dude you have got to be out of your mind! Once this car is broken in, and i belive at the current time it's having rear half shafts upgraded, these guys would be happy to try that car at the track. Being that Josh, "goldrust" built this car he would know more about it than you. He is exactly right with the nitrous explantion. I would not be dissapointed in the least bit with the numbers they produced. Better watch out who your calling out at that...
thank you please drive through ~

I drive my car all over the place, but your right it has the compressor sitting in the garage Making excuses already Your the one that ran your mouth about how slow it would make my car look, bring your $$$ not a bag full of excuses. This isnt Car and Driver were talking about racing not gas mileage and AC... I will put the AC back on if it makes you feel better. If you want AC and mileage ive got an Altima for that

3300 Raceweight and 9's
What kind of power does it take to run a 9? My car should make around 650-700 rwhp through a turbo 350 with a 4000 nitrous stall and 3.73's. Is that enough to get there
Thats not gonna be enough my friend!!!
