Wow. That car actually looks pretty damn good for all the mods. Definitely different. I'd say if he finds the right buyer he could, maybe, get far more than $15k for that car.

I've seen 98 LS1's sell for $10K this past year that didn't have all that stuff on stock motors and trannies.

I beg to differ.

It looks like the paint has hardly any layers or clear coat. Maybe it's the camera but there seems to paint chips everywhere and the bottom of that hideous body kit is scraped everywhere.

$80k of mods with stock engine...... yeah I bet.

am I the only one who saw the EGR with the supposed Ls6 intake. Suppose he could have bought the EGR Ls6 intake but I highly doubt it for a "show" car

That's a fair assessment. What I was trying to say was that for 80k in mods I was expecting something completely riced out. While the body kit may not be up to yor tastes, nor is it mine, I still find it quite subtle.

And it wasn't 80k on a stock engine, was like 14k in engine mods with 10k in labor being claimed. Not that it really matters.

Like I said, if he finds the right customer he could get more than $15k, just not from me.

<EDIT> Yeah, I see what he did now. Inflated ALL the labor costs for that car. Not too cool.

I also noticed he had the mileage listed as "1000" and the pic shows nearly 100,000. That also threw me off.

Damn, I'm getting old.

Is it me or did he pay a bit to much for some of those mods?

You can buy an LS6 intake with EGR provisions:

P.S. - Thats a p.o.s. car, IMHO. And yes, looked like rock chips all over it to me.
