What kind of stupid ******* response is that? And you wonder why most of us think sales people are all ******* crooks, dumbass.

It sounds like you were not going to get financed. Even if you had money down and they didn't think they could get you financed they would have sold it.

Honestly, if you credit isn't very good, they will make a killing off of you and would rather sell it to you. Since they sold it out from you it is because they couldn't get the deal done. Trust me that salesman wanted his commision, he wants to sell that car. They will either have you take the car and come back to sign or sign the deal before you leave. If there is a deal to be had it has to happen while you are there.

I may not be an expert but I know my **** when it comes to financing.

I'd look it over real good and if everything looked good I'd buy it. I bought a bone stock never molested 99 Z with 101K on the clock a year ago for $7,500.00. It's got 128.5K on it now and runs like a top. The only thing I did was change the plugs, tranny fluid and filter, rear gear lube and fuel filter just for insurance. 2:73 rear gear=20MPG all city driving.

It took me 3 weeks to deal on my SS and it was out of state. I bought my SS from Seattle with 13,894 for 16k plus a grand for shipping to Houston. they dropped it from 20k with many an arguement before I'd put a deposit on it... $4k off the price with such low miles, plus only a grand to get it down here a week later, I was happy... and I worked between two dealerships, the Lexus dealership in Seattle and Allen Samuels Chevrolet in Houston who took my trade in (05 Scion tC with 12k on the clock, owed 9500, they gave me 14,500 hahahaha suckers on their part :o ) ... helped immensely with the downpayment, plus transfer of title and no taxes only ran me 100 bucks instead of a grand :o

not all salesmen are crooks... the guy at Allen Samuels made $50 commission and only because he was my "salesman" ... the dealership itself lost $500 ... $350 of that was sending their own driver to help out the truck driver up to seattle from Houston, $50 was for the salesman, and the other $100 was other fee's they forgot to inform me of and decided to eat the cost of ... the guy at the Lexus dealership didn't make a whole hell of a lot either since we took 4 grand off the cost and it was only wholesale value of 15,500 give or take...

so I figure I got a fair deal :o I took them for all I could

Elite why pull up your pantys and stop crying like a little bitch.

I was truthful and honestly trying to explain to him why this probably happened to him. If that hurt your feelings, I am a big eough man to apologize for that.

Sorry pumpkin!!!

Same thing happened to me at Bankston Chevrolet in NRH but I actually put a deposit down on the car. It was actually Hudiburg at the time but was an Autonation dealer already.

Well if you put a deposit on anything and have a receipt for it, that pos dealership can't sell until you been declined for the loan, etc. No matter what type of credit score you got. There's other alternatives for you to get that vehicle. You haven't said anything bout your deposit though. I would be threatening by takin to court if you have a receipt. It's an agreement between you and the stealership. That's jus me though. Screw all salespeople they are FullofSHit....

I've had dealers call me in to see a car I been waiting for, then I get there and they ask around about it...then find out its not there. Its a twist on the 'bait and switch'.

They probably knew the car was sold when they called you to come get it, but wanted to sell you something else.
