Default Drove a STS-V in Vegas this week!

I was in Vegas for last week and this week and I wanted to go from Harrah's to the Sahara. Traffic was the worst I've ever seen so I decided to go via the monorail, and am I glad I did. Got on and saw an advertisment for GM's THEDRIVE at the Sahara, got out at the monorail station and looked off to the side and saw a performance track and an off-road track. All vehicles included were the Corvette, CTS-V, STS-V, Solstice, Sky, Escalade, Silverado, Avalanche, H2, and H3. For $10 you could drive any 2, of course I had to pay $20 and drive 4. Took out the STS-V first and then the C6, STS-V will out accelarate the C6, but the C6 will out handle (of course) the STS-V. Then it was over to the off-road course, drove the H2 suv and the H2 sut.
Anyone going out to Vegas must do this, the people out there are pretty cool as long as you do not loose control they simply turn you loose.

Is it like right next door to the Sahara, meaning you can walk to it from the monorail station? I meant to check it out last August but never made it to that end of the strip.

Yes, it is in the back of the Sahara. I took the monorail down to the Sahara and you can take an escalator down to the track from the station and do not even have to go in the Sahara, or if you are in the Sahara go to the back out the monorail exit and just out to the back parking lot where they have the tracks set up. You can actually see it from the monorail station at the Sahara. If you have the chance go, it is well worth the money.

Yea, I saw the track. That was a pretty big Dirt mound they had for you to climb in the Hummer. Looked like fun.

Car and Driver sent me an invitation for a compairson of the Cadillac, BMW, and Lexus, not sure which ones, for the 2nd and 3rd of December at Reliant. I'll find the website and post it. Could be fun.
