Default I need a Clutch, any suggestions?

What do you guys think is the right clutch? I wanted a spec stage three, but I hear they chatter at low rpm. I daily drive my car so it needs to be reliable and tough enough for some heads and cam. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

the main reason lots of people have trouble with these aftermarket clutches is that they don't understand how to drive them. first few times i drove cars with those clutches (ram powergrip hd, vds, spec 5, etc) it was a learning experience, but once you understand what you're doing it is WAY nicer than stock.

How much does that ls7 clutch run? Im looking for something close to stock (if not stock) but wouldnt mind something that could handle a little power.

I asked some more of my LS1 buddies and like someone stated they all chatter till you break it in. Need to put at least 1000 mi on it. I am leaning back toward the Spec 3. I can get the package for a reasonable price.

I like the Textralia clutch. We have one in Tommy's car, and it works quite well.

I agree with the Textralia comment... even though I'm just a lowly A4 guy.

If you call the guys at byunspeed...tell them you are on ls1tech and they will hook you up with the LS2 flywheel and all the LS7 clutch components for 5 something shipped, at least thats what it used to be. They have some of the best customer service of anyone I have talked to as of now.
