I need a Clutch, any suggestions? What do you guys think is the right clutch? I wanted a spec stage three, but I hear they chatter at low rpm. I daily drive my car so it needs to be reliable and tough enough for some heads and cam. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i have a spec stage 3 like it so far had some chatter at low rpms but its gone now. had to relearn how to drive it after i put it in. it holds up to my 4500 rpm launches (on ten bolt w/ 4.10s)

the main reason lots of people have trouble with these aftermarket clutches is that they don't understand how to drive them. first few times i drove cars with those clutches (ram powergrip hd, vds, spec 5, etc) it was a learning experience, but once you understand what you're doing it is WAY nicer than stock.

Thats what i am running in my cam only car and it is great.

I asked some more of my LS1 buddies and like someone stated they all chatter till you break it in. Need to put at least 1000 mi on it. I am leaning back toward the Spec 3. I can get the package for a reasonable price.
