Default head porters in Texas

I am in the DFW area and i need a set of ls6 heads ported and i would like to have them done locally. If anyone can help that would be GREAT!

trevor johnson in rockwall. search yahoo and i think you can get to his site. he stays really busy as he does all his porting by hand himself. but he gets as good of numbers as can be gotten. he does alot of viper race teams stuff i think.

Trevor does some top notch work. If you wanna spend some cash to get a badass product give him a call. If you are on a budget, send them to one of the CNC shops, PRC(Texas Speed) or TEA, WCCH, etc.

I still do for close friends or myself. Not interested anymore for the public. Glad to know you guys had good results.

Both Harold and Trevor are GREAT cylinder head guys. Cant go wrong with either one.

Greg's work is second to none for sure. He hasn't been mentioned because he doesn't do a lot of advertising (He doesn't need to), so very few LS1 people know about him, although everybody in the racing industry in Houston knows who he is.

Texas Speed will run them through their CNC program for $400 , just ship it to them.

Alot of Guys like Greg, Trevor, Harold, etc are at the top of their game. However, they cant compete with the "budget" heads like Patriot, TEA, PRC, etc. Let them do the high end stuff that people will appreciate, and let the volume based sales and price wars go else where (not speaking for them of course, thats just the feedback I get from a few guys). I will not touch a head anymore for that reason. "Well TEA will do it for this much, and PRC charges that" its frustrating for me, and I am not even at those guys level.

He just (and I mean just) finished a set of LS7 heads for me. Flowed over 400cfm @ .650". I am very happy.

Those guys are good... but give Arvil a call over at Xtreme Horsepower in North Richland Hills. They are LSx specialists and have been getting some good numbers themselves.... thay are a sponsor here.
