Default Some F*@cker is stealing my money

Today someone spent $99.99 with my credit card # and while I'm on the phone with the bank, I recieved an e-mail saying my primary e-mail was changed on my paypal account (never seen the changed e-mail in my life). Still on the phone with the bank, I log into my paypal account to see what the hell is going on, and there is another $68 charge that someone just completed. This is the website they spent the $68

http://golditemshop.com/main.aspx?country=U.S.A

Looks like an online game store so my guess, some little no good, pale, computer hacking *** kid hacked into my **** and spent $68 there.

Went through everything but I don't think I'll get my money back. I've had to deal with paypal before and they're not always the best when it comes to resolution center. Basically i filed a claim with paypal and it'll be "looked into." And the bank told me I'll have to come in on Monday to put it on paper.

To make it worse, the server for my online banking just went down so now I won't be able to see if any other charges will be made for the night.

I would close ALL my cards NOW and request all NEW cards. All CC's have 24 support for that. It sucks but I wouldn't **** around on that man. The little 68 dollar charge is just a check to see if the card would work.

dang, man you want to talk about fraud, When i was in iraq I got all kinds of bills dumped on me, from some looser, then when i came home i got pulled over and arrested for a suspended drivers license. I had to clear it up. and my credit is still jacked. at least you are here to fix it. I got the but end of the stick.

Someone put $2,000 worth of charges on my Moms credit card the other day. Visa declined one of them, and did a chargeback on the first one. Its that time of the year, for scum to go shopping with others money.

dude if the paypal charge came off a credit card(as opposed to paypal balance or direct from bank account) just do a charge back with the credit card co. Call the number on the back of the credit card, dont even need to call your bank call visa

Details? Could you sign back on aim for me? I tried calling the bank and have them freeze the account but they all tell me that won't help..... it's complicated.

I had someone steal my number and buy some online **** subscriptions with them. Going through the pain in the *** ordeal right now to get the charges removed. One of them was to, as the guy from CCBill.com said when I called, "My daughty is ******* Blackzilla dot com."

Classy.

Yikes Brian! I'm sorry to hear that. I would close all accounts - at least talk to your card company to see what they recommend.

While it literally could have been from anything, always remember to check the address bar to make sure you are paying the right place ... and that it has httpS:// at the beginning when putting a credit card number in. Brian, this isn't for you because I know you know about web stuff but this is for everyone else reading. Be Careful!

My sister in law had it happen to her, and it turned out at the hospital one of the people checking her out at the desk kept the card number and went to town ... for thousands!!!

Have you used an ATM machine lately???

My buddy and his friend were out one night and both of them used their debit cards in the same ATM in a convenience store and a couple days later both of them had their accounts hit for over $1,000.

The the ATMs are rigged to record the info off your card as well as your pin number, then the bad guys go make their own cards and hit your account.

No, that can't be good....next thing you'll know is that your house will get stormed by the FBI because you're providing assistance to terrorists...

this all totally sucks, and I feel for everyone. If you go into certain chat rooms, you can find several people offering & looking for cc accts., paypal accts. bank logins, and the such. The amazing thing is, most of them are from Africa & the UK. It's mind-boggling how some people will stoop so low instead of going out & earning a living like the rest of us.

The even more amazing part is, when I seen this activity, I called the FBI, and they said it would have to be handled by the secret service, and when I called them, they pretty much said nothing could be done since the con artists are in another country. And we all thought our government care about their people......
