Need a Traffic lawyer... help please :) so i got a court date comin up on the 11th of JAN for precint 3... a ticket givin to me by a BEXAR COUNTY SHERIFFS K-9 UNIT.... busted me for WRECKLESS DRIVING AND EXHIBITION OF SPEED... whatever that is... was for letting my back end loose on a turn near my house, SUX! i qualify for Defensive Driving and would do anything to keep it off my record... prefer low to no fines, probation is fine, Defensive driving fine, no points for insurance please... im 19 with a slightly modded TA.

Did you get arrested, I did. I ended up paying 500+ for court fees, 140 for visiting my probation officer, 160 for bail, 500 for my laywer, and about 150 for the impound my car was towed to. That was here in San Antonio. It was also for reckless driving. I had a clean record so the judge gave me a break. 
According to him, its automatic jailtime. I think its like 90 days or something like that.....

I can't believe how serious they take this **** nowdays..
I had several contest for speed and exhibition tickets back in the early 90's and it wasn't any more serious than a speeding ticket..

Dont freak out....go down there and since its Bexar County will see the judge....he will ask you some stupid questions and then will ask you what you would like to do.
Tell him you would like to take Deferred Judication (Probation) will most likely be 180 days without committing the same violation. Price will be cost of ticket (plus court fees maybe)

dang man that sux last year when i was in highschool i whipped it pretty good leaving school while i was doing a u-turn and got busted it was only a speeding ticket though, he never mentioned anything about me letting loose of the tires. You are lucky that you didn't get arested because that would sux.
