Default Reputable Trans Shops in Houston

Some one who can work on a 93 4L60, I dont trust trans shops like Cottman or AAMCO.

David Meyers in Pearland rebuilt mine in 2004. Over two years with no problems. I brought in a Pro-Built Road Racing kit, though, too. He's a fair guy as well.

Does a 93 even have a 4l60..i though it was still the 700r4..?

century transmissions in richmond tx. Mike kurtz is the owner and builder of my transmission in the truck, and I will have him build the transmission in the camaro, good luck.

Thanks guys, it still works, but it has ATF starting to seep at the back of the trans. The front seal was seaping but was changed by Speed Demon in 02 when it got the Vigi.

Prety much the exact same trans but with a 5 pin case connector and an extra check ball in the valve body. The 4L60e which most you guys refer to as the 4L60 came in 1994.

Are you talking about the seal where the DS yoke goes in? It's real easy to pop a new one in.

yea, its seeping out ATF from there. LS1 drive shaft swap time?

Not a bad idea. It only takes a few minutes to swap that seal though.
