Again no rush this is an "all day" event.

From 10ish - whenever.

Be safe on the way up there and take your time.

The main goal of this event is to have a good time!!!!

See you guys tomorrow!

We should be there at about 11:30 or so. Porsche won't make it. Window motor on the passenger side gave out tonight when I was at Chili's. Ben closed the door and it did its normal window thing, but we didn't pay attention. It went halfway down and stuck. Then when I hit up when we got back from eating it did nothing. Hit down and it went into the door and won't come back up. People have had the same thing, but they just cycle the ignition and it works.. Mine didn't work.

Sounds like fun but my whimpy 12.34 vette wouldn't even come close to being competitive. Too bad I still don't own the Camaro!

Your car would have been plenty competitive, there were a bunch of 12 and 13 sec. cars there.

We have thought about rescheduling the event since we found out about Grand Prix and Buzz Fest a few weeks ago.

A vote was made to stay on track and have a good time. And that we would setup another one in the near future.

In total John est. there to be around 50-60 cars out there running.

All who went I hope everyone had a blast, and hope the next time this thing is planned nothing else will be on that date.

where was the southside at!!!!>?

It was ok, saw the same 10-15 cars running the whole time, sometimes no cars running for 15-20 min. at a time. It was cool cause I was there w/ some friends but the turnout was poor IMHO. Even though I'm not a fan of Joe Golden, clobberthons > this event all the way around.

I give props out to Garrett and whoever else helped putting this event on. It is not easy to plan everything out, get approval from the track etc etc... I hope there is a much better turn out next time around. I mean Houston has the fastest street cars in Texas hands down! Where the hell was everybody? I have been reading that all of these people are going to come out, and all this **** talking has been going on but almost none of those people showed up! I had a great time either way and it was a nice day to be at the track!
