Not so. I just had both my cars inspected (they both pass just fine) and their scanner can't read through the windsheild very well so on both of my cars they had to type it in by hand.

i have a liscense too, i would have only done it for my personal cars, and it would have been next to impossible to figure it out from their stand point. that being a totally hypothetical setting anyways.
