Of the early 90's, I would take the rockets. Jordan was on lock down when Vernon was gaurding him. I think at the time Jordan only averaged 18pts again against the Rockets. Jordan said, the only people that could guard him and give him hell was Joe Dumars and Vernon Maxwell. They didnt have anyone to stop Hakeem. Cartright and Wellington and the time were decent center, but could not stop Hakeem. I think it would have been a very good championship if they would have meet.

wow, talk about wearing blinders. He's a good player, but Dirk and the word "ever" don't belong in the same sentence.

GOT TO HAVE Magic Johnson, not having him on your list, is like not having Jordan

Team: Los Angeles Lakers (1979-91, 1996)

Titles: 5 (1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, 1988)

Honors: 12-time All-Star, three-time MVP (1987, 1989, 1990), three-time Finals MVP (1980, 1982, 1987), Hall of Fame

The player: The prototype big point guard. The only player in NBA history who could dominate -- not just play -- all five positions.

I'm gunna go with Dominique Wilkins or Darryl Dawkins just cause anyone claiming to be from planet "Lovetron" and has the nickname "Chocolate Thunder" has to be near the top.

Good point...I'm removing the "Big O" and adding Jerry as my SG to round out my selection.

I agree, and that is why I had him on my list. But with Magic AND Oscar, I didn't have a 2.
