I'll quote Wikipedia because this about sums it up for me:
"His list of accomplishments and leadership in the Spurs' NBA title runs in 1999, 2003, and 2005 have led many to consider him to be one of the greatest power forwards in NBA history."

i'm not a spurs fan, but Duncan is one of the best in the league right now. All-time i doubt it...there just too much history out there.

Karl Malone has an edge in points over Duncan, yet fewer rebounds.
Duncan - 2-time MVP of the league...3-time NBA Finals MVP...3 Rings...25.1 career PER (6th All-Time)
Barkley - 1 MVP, 0 Rings...24.6 career PER
Malone - 2-time MVP...0 rings...23.9 career PER

Duncan's my pick. I'm not saying Malone and Barkley aren't good. I just would rather have Duncan as my power forward.

No offense to Duncan, but he just hasn't been in the league long enough honestly. "Only" 10 years.
Jordan, Magic and Malone **** on all that!
I'm a Mav's fan, I still wouldn't include Dirk, even though he's good now!
PS, the amount of Rings you have, doesn't necessairly determine how "good" you are either. You can score 50 pts a game but if the managment and owners don't have a supporting roles around that "one" player, that doesn't matter!!!

By your analogy, Britney Spears is the alltime best singer, since she sold more records than Whitney Houston in the last 10 years. Britney cant sing for ****!
