i dont think i'd have enough cubes to get them to spin. maybe if i put twin air hog filters and dual stacked tornado's it'd build enough velocity to spool them bad boys up.

Yep, that's what I ran and I'm very happy with it. Mike is some kind of prophet...except the part about me being happy.

A better rear-end and sticky tires would get me much better times.

I raced guys running extremely low 8's at 81, 82mph b/c they had drag radials or slicks even. Me pushing 90mph makes me happy. Like I and everyone said...no traction! And, I'm not going to put MTs on my car and snap the rear-end. IMO, running a high 7 or really low 8 is not worth the $2500 it could cost me.

It was nice meeting you guys last night, maybe I'll see you there again sometime.

Deep down inside we know that you are pissed you spent that much money and only ran .2 better then your personal best stock and that you ran .2 better then Billy's TRT setup. If you can genuinely say that you are happy with that you should just wrap your whole car in exhaust wrap and no one will ever know who you are. hehe

If you "Say" you are happy who are we to doubt. Problem is, we all know you are full of it because at first you never had intentions of taking the car to the track. Then you did. Then reality is starting to sit in and you are still in that stage of denial. If you want help, just ask.

Mike.... how about I get Billy to put a rear mount on my car with 1 or 2 psi boost and the 250 shot of nitrous...... then we can argue about STS kits running low low 6's??

Actually, I'm not upset at all. The car runs great and love the way it feels. My problem is not the STS kit, my problem is that I have so much power, I can't get traction without the supporting mods, which I don't need right now b/c I was never planning on building a drag car...just a street DD. That's what I was shooting for, that's what I got!
I had always planned on taking my car to the track at some point, it just so happened that I was in FTW for a basketball tournament on Sunday afternoon, so on my way home, I stopped by Kennedale. I let your buddy that actually has a car know that I was going to be there and at what time.

Let's line them up from a 120mph roll...I'll even let you beep it off. Oh wait, does your Civic go 120mph?...didn't think so.

Seriously though Mike, I'm considering cutting off child support to your Mom. That extra money every month could get me into drag car glory! Maybe then, I'll not only have your support as a son, but as a man...

Heres a really awesome custom rear mount that was done here locally. 100% stock Z06 engine down to the exhaust manifolds. This car sounds awesome. And the setup is some of the highest quality work I have ever seen.

It is an accurate dyno, i have dynoed on a lot of different dynos to include that one and they are all within like 3 hp of each other. This is between dynojets and dyno dynamics.

I hear this thing all the time and it just isnt true in most cases.

A few years ago i dynoed my old setup at speedtek in Hurst and put down 465 and then last year at that same dyno dynamics that I posted that graph of i put down the exact same number.

Not believing it bro...That dyno should read more on par with a Mustang Dyno. Ive called the DD guys in Australia spoke to them for several minutes inquiring about their units. They are nice for tuning. And they also can be manipulated more easily then any other unit.

That's awesome with the Z06. He is probably very happy with his car and doesn't care that a 400rwhp NA car could whoop up on him in a 1/8 mile drag.

Surely you must know I was joking with regards to the 120mph roll.

Mike, lets race your Civic against my wife's Malibu. I think I can win. I'll even go from a dig with you!

If we get caught racing and cops come after us, since you'll be in the rear, you'll most likely be the one that gets pulled over and arrested. Remember, when you're in jail and being raped in the ***, don't reach back and grab their *****...they might call you a *** and no son of mine of mine will be called a ***.
