On my stock A4 (ok, I have a lid) I went to Louisiana and back last Monday (part of it was through monsoons) for a total of about 565 miles - averaged 24mpg for the whole trip.

First fill was on 150 miles - 21mpg (this includes 1 hour of idling down 290 to the loop )

Second fill up was a bit over 200 miles - 23mpg.

On the last fill up it was again a bit over 200 miles - 25mpg running between 70 and 80mph on this leg of the trip.

I ran Shell V Power 93 for the whole trip - don't usually run that, but I do believe that I am switching exclusively to it - car ran better than it has in a long time. Of course, getting it out on the highway and running it probably cleaned a lot of daily driver, idle my way to work crap out of the engine.

I regularly get 20-21 mpg in my stock '98 M6, and close to 30 on the Interstate.

I run my M6 at 15.6:1 on the freeway and get 23 MPG. It was 28 before they starting putting that ethanol **** in.

I don't take my car on long trips, maybe from Houston to Galveston. I get a little over 150 miles per tank depending how hard I drive it. Damn heads, and cam.

I recently went to Cedar Creek from Dallas, this is an 1 - 1/2 hour drive and I made it on a 1/4 tank, thought that was good, on a 388ci stroker untuned and running rich as hell. Have plenty of mods too.

i get maybe 200 to a tank city driving, more like 180 usually with a few romps on the gas here and there. still not bad enough to considering me selling it. sure there are cars that get better mileage but there arent ANY cars that make up enough horsepower to make me feel happy about filling up less often

i hit an all time low today of 155 miles on full to empty for city driving and very very little highway... pretty ******* sad for a BONE STOCK (with a lid and some suspension) 01 SS ...

i think some of my plugs don't care to work at the moment, and my AIR system's check valves are starting to **** with me. as soon as I pass emissions that **** is out

but I have to admit, after getting my GMMG put on, uhh, I've been a lot harder on it and not shifting as much... haven't listened to the radio since either.

Sweet. I'm from Sherman... I'm visiting my folks there this coming week. Maybe will see each other around on the road. I'm glad to see another LS1tech'er around my hometown.

I'll find out what my gas mileage on my stalled car when I drive back to texas this week.(310ish miles) Should be good though. I drove to Memphis with a full tank (150ish miles away) and the needle was between the 3/4 mark and 1/2 mark when I got to my destination.
