Velentine V1 detector

If you are thinking the radar detector will save you while driving in England, cancel that plan. They have speed cameras every few miles. They are notorious for catching people. They even have cameras that check your average speed to make sure you aren't speeding. I was there last month, saw it myself. Don't bother wasting ur money on a radar detector.

Put vaseline all over your license plate...or go buy "Rides" magazine and buy that stuff they advertise on the last couple pages. It doesn't look like anything's on it, but if you put a flash to it, you can't see **** in the picture.

However, let me add a disclaimer to that. The Speed Camera's are VISIBLY MARKED 1 to 4 miles in advance of the actual camera itself. MOST of the time, the camera's are empty or no film in them. They are using them as "deterrants" mostly. You'll also know a speed camera by lookin' at the markings on the pavement. They take two camera shots, one when your car crosses the first line, and then a final shot on the last line. Then they EXTRAPOLATE your actual "average" speed.
Don't waste your money, it's against the law to have them anyway in the car!
I lived in the London area 5 years when I was in the USAF, THAT'S how I know!
