Military helicopters over downtown Houston?

Default Military helicopters over downtown Houston?
Anyone know why military helicopters have been circling downtown Houston the past few days? We were at the Stros game Saturday and they went by a few times. Supposedly, they circled by a few times yesterday and are doing it again today. It would be nice to know why this is going on.

most likely Homeland Security training, or some High Ranking officials are in town. anything in the news about someone in the DOD being in town right now?

huh i work in downtown, outside too, but i havent seen any choppers! weird...

Well, I saw them with my own eyes Saturday and a person I know that works in the Penzoil/Shell tower saw them today.

what kind of military helocopters are they? i know theres a guard/training unit out of the conroe area...

Were they an apache/cobra or were they some sort of Huey or somethin? I'm curious to know as well

Been seeing military copters flying around Houston for decades.

Although it was really cool when the TANG upgraded from F-101's to F-4's around '72.

Phantoms are the SS's of jet fighters.
